Biking

During the summer, we took some one-day bike trips that varied from 24 to 30 miles. Our favorite trails are Blackstone River, East Bay, Ashuwillticook, and Amherst. Some days it was just Mark and I and other times, Robert, Kirsten and Shawn joined us. When we biked during the weekdays, the trails were quite empty. Recently, we biked in Amherst on a Saturday and there were lots of bikers and walkers. We even saw dogs in children bike trailers and in front backs.
